This project visualizes the Astralis brand by blending 3D animation and video clips from throughout the team's history. The final video is a means to promote brand identity and awareness, in addition to building continued excitement for the organization.

I worked backwards from the final logo, envisioning how it could come together from broken pieces. Astralis, being "of the stars", turned my direction to a space themed slow burn. This gave plenty of time to showcase prolific moments that fans would recognize.
I decided to use video textures, scouring the internet for the clips and audio I needed to bring the Astralis logo to life.

Using video textures led me to keep the camera and light movements simple, as to not be distracting. Slow panning and smooth rotation fit the outer space feeling well, before finally coming together in a climactic audio-visual build up.

REFLECTION
It was both fun and challenging bringing together video editing, 3d animation, and sound design in a way that engages viewers with the Astralis brand. They have cemented their name in esports history, and this project testifies to that.
